Having a love for working with computers, a heart for serving people and a dream to see the world, Adventure Seekers Travel began in September of 1992. It brings us much joy to be involved in travel planning and to help make your dreams come true.

Our business is owned by Art and Jody Bode. Art is a Lutheran minister, and Jody is involved full time at the agency. They have four grown children and four grandchildren. Art grew up in Minnesota, has a passion for ministry, family, bow hunting, fishing, motorcycle touring and was once a horse trainer and performer with the Lippazanne Stallions traveling throughout the United States and Canada. Jody grew up in Maine, New Hampshire and New York, has worked with computers all her life, has been a legal secretary, word processing secretary with Honeywell and IBM and a homemaker. She has a passion for church work, family, genealogy, camping and hiking and motorcycle touring with her husband. Their favorite place to travel is to Alaska where they have been three times -- once on their motorcycle. Jody has also traveled in New England, Canada, the Canadian and Colorado Rockies, Florida, Cozumel, Grand Cayman, and Jamaica.

LuAnne Kennedy has been with the agency since 1994. She grew up in West Michigan, is married with two grown sons, and enjoys spending time with her family, golfing, and working at a local golf course on her off time. She has traveled to Canada, the east coast, Florida, Biloxi, New Orleans, Jamaica, Cancun, Cozumel, the Bahamas and Reno, but her favorite is Las Vegas!

Mary Byl has been with the agency since 1999. She grew up in Michigan having lived from Grand Haven to Detroit, is a devoted single parent with 7 grown children and 6 grandchildren, enjoys journaling and is active with her church fellowship. Her favorite vacation is going to Disney with her family. She has traveled extensively in the U. S., been to most of the Netherland Antilles Islands, the West Indies, the U. S. Virgin Islands as well as Jamaica.

Sue Nielsen has been with the agency since early 2010.  She grew up in Byron Center south of Grand Rapids and moved to Oceana County some 20 years ago.  She has 2 children plus a couple step-children, and 2 grandchildren with more on the way.  She has vacationed at both the Grand Bahama Island and Freeport Island in the Bahamas, all the wonderful and various Keys in south Florida, Chicago IL, Washington D.C., and Seattle Washington.  She also spent 13 weeks in south Mississippi after hurricane Katrina, a couple weeks in mid-Texas and west New York after flooding, and other disasters as a volunteer for the Red Cross.
